Sexual Harassment and Discrimination

Jake Denton regularly represents plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving workplace harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.

To initiate an employment discrimination case, the first step is to file a Charge of Discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC") or equivalent state agency. We file attorney issued Charges of Discrimination. This alleviates the client's need to file the charge, which otherwise can be onerous. Some cases are resolved during the EEOC process. Other cases proceed to litigation in federal or state court.

Generally, to prove workplace discrimination, an individual must prove that they have been subjected to severe and pervasive discriminatory conduct that caused a tangible employment detriment.
